Monday May 08, 2023
Monday May 08, 2023
It’s Teacher Appreciation Week 2023! In today’s episode, I’ll share 3 ways you can support our teachers and educators. And through the rest of this week on the Jammin’ with Jocelyn podcast, there will be new episodes every single day to celebrate and honor all the teachers and educators who are teaching, serving, inspiring, and protecting our future generation. Each episode is meant to share real stories from real teachers who can speak directly to what teachers experience and provide inspiration with tips and encouragement to support you, the teacher, and the educator.
And if you’re not a teacher or educator, I invite you to listen in to get a glimpse into what it’s like to be in the education profession right now and how teachers and educators need your support.
If you know a teacher or educator, I invite you to share this week’s episodes with them so that they can receive inspiration and encouragement to support them as they round out the school year.
If you enjoyed listening to this episode, I’d be so grateful if you would leave a review to let others know about this podcast. Releasing from the Model Minority Myth
Wednesday May 03, 2023
Wednesday May 03, 2023
We’re starting off the month by sharing my perspective and journey in releasing from the Model Minority Myth as a middle-aged AAPI woman and working mom.
There are many layers and nuances to the Model Minority Myth, and I won’t take the time in this episode to explain it because I’m not an expert. If you’re not familiar with the term and how it’s affected the various minority groups, then I invite you to get curious and learn about it. There are lots of articles, books, and youtube videos that you can learn from.
This is why in this episode, I’m sharing my own personal experience and journey of how the model minority myth has impacted me, how I’m releasing/deconditioning from it, and how I’m showing up differently now.
So my hope in this episode is that story and perspective will shed light on the effects of the Model Minority Myth for those who aren’t familiar with the Model Minority Myth AND to let my fellow AAPI community know that you’re not alone and that maybe my story helps you feel seen, heard, and understood.

Exploring Religion and Spirituality with Adi Sudarkoff and Nicole Ralston
Wednesday Apr 12, 2023
Wednesday Apr 12, 2023
Today's episode centers around a big topic: Religion and Spirituality. For the past couple of years, I've been fascinated with this concept of religion and spirituality and where I find myself in that. Clearly, there are many layers to this topic and there's a lot that we could talk about but in today's episode, my guests, Adi Sudarkoff, Nicole Ralston, and I dive into this topic from the lens of our own upbringing and past experiences and where we find ourselves now. The 3 of us have had several conversations centered on this topic and I thought it'd be fun to invite you into one of our conversations.
A little intro about my two guests and friends:
Adi is a Human Design Specialist and Spiritual Life Coach to witchy, woo weirdos whose unsung superpowers are their empathy, intuition and Divine Feminine Essence. As a Projector and a Guide, Adi helps her clients bridge the gap between their Soul’s greatest desire to BE their truest selves, and their day-to-day life’s seeming limitations.

The Magic of Intuition with Sarah Noble
Wednesday Mar 29, 2023
Wednesday Mar 29, 2023
Ever wonder what it's like to connect to your intuition? In this episode, Sarah Noble and I dive into all the different nuances of intuition: what it is, how we connect to it, and what intuition does for us when we are tuned into and connected with our intuition.
Listen in to hear the vast amount of wisdom and insights that came through this conversation. It was definitely a magical conversation!
Sarah is a mystic, spiritual guide, and transformational coach. As a portal between the seen and the unseen worlds, she lives in devotion to creating spaces that allow people to be fully ALIVE and deeply connected to their intuition. She knows that we are ALL intuitive and have the capacity to connect with what we cannot see, and because of this loves inspiring people to embrace their magic and live in the mystery of life. Knowing that life is ALWAYS loving us, even in the hard moments, and understanding that how we show up for everything is connected to how we are loving and being with ourselves, she loves to play in the places that awaken the truth of YOU and ignite the gifts of your intuition, magic, and your deepest desires.
Sign up for Sarah's FREE gift, called 'Ignite your Intuition'. It is a gift to guide you on your intuitive journey. It includes a workbook to get clear on what is in the way of you being connected to your intuition, a ceremony with the elements to deepen your inner knowing, and meditation to harness the power of the earth to support you.
